Everything begins with an initial consultation where Dr. Delgado assesses the patient’s overall health, discusses their expectations, and identifies the target areas for liposuction.
Before the procedure, medical exams are conducted to ensure the patient is in optimal condition for surgery. Clear instructions are provided on how to prepare for the operation day, including guidelines on fasting and medication.
Liposuction at our clinic is performed under anesthesia, which can be local or general, depending on the extent of the area being treated. The surgeon then makes small incisions in the designated areas and, using a cannula, carefully suctions out the excess fat.
After surgery, detailed post-operative care instructions are provided, including the use of compression garments, pain management, and activity restrictions.
