The Mastopexy will be performed depending on the patient’s body type.
There are two types of incisions for this procedure, periareolar or inverted T-shaped. Depending on the skin laxity, the lower pole scars will be vertical or inverted T-shaped to compensate for excess skin. If the skin is loose, the scar will be longer. If the skin is firm, mastopexy can be performed using only a periareolar scar.
